Dress Code

In the Clubhouse

Dress

In the Lounge and Dining Room
Men:
Normally if the doors between the lounge and the Harry Colt Bar are open, clean golf dress or smart casual dress may be worn.
If these doors are closed, jackets and ties or cravats or polo necks must be worn after 11 a.m.
Jeans and shorts are not permitted.


Ladies:
Smart casual dress after 11am.
In the Harry Colt Bar and Gallery Bar
Informal, but tidy dress is permitted.

On the Course and Practice Ground

Hats and Caps
Appropriate headwear should be worn in the style for which it was designed e.g. baseball caps should be worn with the peak facing forward.

Shirts
Shirts must be tailored, polo or sleeved.
They must be tucked into the waistband of trousers/shorts.

Trousers
Jeans and tracksuit trousers are not permitted. Trousers should be tailored and smart.

Shorts
Shorts should be of the tailored variety.

Socks
Socks, when worn in conjunction with shorts, may be knee length with supports to ensure they remain up, or may be short white ankle socks.

Shoes
Only golf shoes should be worn on the course. Trainers and other recreational footwear is inappropriate.
